PHOENIX LIVING | Real Broker
The numbers

For independent agents in the Phoenix metro

Keep your brand. Lose the isolation.

The Phoenix Living Collective is a group of independent agents at Real Broker who work together, share what's working and help each other grow. It isn't a team. Nobody takes a cut of your commission, and your clients, your database and your name stay yours.

85/15 split with Real
$12,000 annual cap
0% to a team leader
5 tiers of revenue share

Not a team

Collaboration without giving up your business

Most agents who join a team do it for support, and they pay for that support with a bigger split and someone else's logo. We think you can get the community part without trading away the ownership part.

A traditional team

  • Team leader takes 10–50% of your commission, often with no cap
  • You market under the team's name and brand
  • Leads and the client database usually belong to the team
  • Leaving often means starting over
  • The structure works best for the person at the top

The Collective

  • You contract with Real directly at the standard 85/15 split and $12,000 cap
  • You market under your own name and brand, alongside Real
  • Your clients, sphere and database are yours, period
  • You choose how involved you want to be
  • Everyone grows together through shared knowledge, not shared splits

Regular mastermind sessions

Small-group conversations about what's actually happening in our market: tough negotiations, pricing calls, lead sources that are working and the ones that aren't.

Deal support from people who've been there

A second set of eyes on a tricky contract, a counter-offer strategy or a listing presentation. Ask the question before it becomes a problem.

Shared vendors and local know-how

Trusted inspectors, lenders, stagers, photographers and contractors across Anthem, North Phoenix and the Valley, shared freely instead of guarded.

Co-marketing when it makes sense

Joint open houses, community events and content collaborations, done in a way that lifts each agent's own brand.

Accountability and goal setting

Business planning with peers who will check in on you. Independent doesn't have to mean on your own.

What would your year look like?

Plug in your typical deal and how many you close in a year. The example below is a $500,000 average price at 2.5%, 14 closings.

Estimate only. Assumes every deal is a sale at the same price, your cap year lines up with the deals shown, and the September 2026 fee schedule above. Leases, referrals and deals over $1M can change the math. It doesn't include the one-time $249 sign-up fee, revenue share or stock.

Income beyond commission

Seven ways to earn at Real

Commission is still the core of your business. Real adds a few more ways to build income and long-term wealth on top of it, and none of them require you to recruit.

1

Commission

An 85/15 split until you cap at $12,000, then 100% for the rest of your anniversary year (less the post-cap fee).

85% → 100% after cap
2

Revenue share

When an agent you introduced to Real closes deals, Real shares part of its own 15% with you. It comes out of Real's portion, never the other agent's commission.

Up to 5% of Real's split, 5 tiers deep
3

Stock purchase plan

Opt in to put part of each commission toward Real (Nasdaq: REAX) shares, and Real adds bonus shares on top.

5% + 10% bonus pre-cap · 10% + 15% bonus post-cap
4

Capping award

Real grants restricted stock each year you hit your cap. The number of shares adjusts as the company grows, and awards vest over three years.

Stock grant each time you cap
5

Elite Agent award

Reach Elite status (cap plus $6,000 in post-cap fees, or $500K GCI with 10 sales over $1M) and earn a stock award, plus your post-cap fee drops to $100.

$12,000 in stock
6

Elite cultural award

Elite agents who give back by teaching, mentoring or contributing to Real's agent community can qualify for an additional stock award.

Additional stock for contributing
7

Referral income

Real has agents across the U.S. and Canada. When a client moves out of your area, refer them to someone you can vet inside the network and earn a referral fee.

Revenue share in detail

How revenue share actually works

This is the part that confuses people most, so here it is plainly. If a friend or colleague joins Real because of you, Real pays you a share of what it earns from that agent's deals. Their commission isn't touched.

Tier Share of Real's 15% Max per capping agent / yr
Tier 1 · agents you bring in 5% $4,000
Tier 2 4% $3,200
Tier 3 3% $2,400
Tier 4 2% $1,600
Tier 5 1% $800

Tier 1 is open to every agent from day one. Deeper tiers unlock as the number of active agents you've personally brought to Real grows. Real lowered the Tier 2 requirement in its September 2026 update, so ask us for the current thresholds.

Is this a fit?

Who the Collective is built for

You'll probably love it if you

  • Already have your own brand, or want to build one
  • Want people to think through deals and strategy with
  • Would rather keep more of your commission than pay for a team logo
  • Like sharing what works and learning from others
  • Care about doing right by your clients, even when that means advising them to wait
  • Work in Anthem, North Phoenix or anywhere in the Valley

It's probably not right if you

  • Want leads handed to you in exchange for a large split
  • Need a manager telling you what to do each day
  • See other agents only as competition
  • Are looking for a get-rich-quick recruiting plan
I built my business on listening first and giving clients advice I'd want for my own family. I wanted that same feel with other agents: people who are generous with what they know, honest about what isn't working and invested in each other's success. Questions agents ask

Frequently asked

Do I have to change my branding?

No. You keep your own name, logo and marketing. Arizona rules require your advertising to show your brokerage, so Real Broker appears alongside your brand, but you don't become "Phoenix Living."

Does anyone in the Collective take a split of my deals?

No. You join Real as an independent agent on the standard 85/15 plan with a $12,000 cap. The only splits and fees you pay go to Real and are listed on this page.

What happens to my clients and database if I leave?

They're yours. Your client relationships, your sphere and your database go wherever you go.

Do I have to recruit agents?

No. Revenue share is optional. Some agents never bring anyone in. If a colleague does join because of you, you're eligible for revenue share on that agent's production, paid from Real's portion.

Is there a physical office?

Real is a cloud-based brokerage, so there's no desk fee. The Collective meets in person around the Valley and online, and you're welcome at whatever fits your schedule.

What if I'm newer to real estate?

Newer agents are welcome. You'll get access to Real's training and support, plus agents in the Collective who are happy to answer questions and share what's worked for them.

How do I switch brokerages?

We'll walk you through it: the Real application, transferring your license with the Arizona Department of Real Estate, and timing the move around your pending transactions so nothing falls through the cracks.

Let's have a no-pressure conversation

Switching brokerages is a real decision, and it should make sense for your business. Coffee or a call works. We'll look at your numbers together, and if it isn't a fit, I'll tell you.

Jennifer Haugebak

I'm Jennifer Haugebak, a Realtor® and the owner of Phoenix Living, with Real Broker and the Sakala Group. I help buyers and sellers in Anthem, Phoenix and nearby cities like Scottsdale, Peoria, Glendale and Surprise, with a special focus on North Phoenix. I've lived in Anthem since 2012 and have a 5.0-star rating from 78 client reviews.

Before real estate, I spent 20+ years in healthcare. In 2018 I became a full-time Realtor, and I've brought the same habits with me: listening carefully, paying attention to details, and taking care of people when the stakes are high. Since then I've helped hundreds of people reach their real estate goals.

Buying or selling a home is one of the biggest decisions you'll make. I don't think the answer is always "buy now" or "list now." My job is to help you make the right move for your goals and your timing, whether that's this month or next year.

Who I work with most

  • First-time buyers: Your first home is more than a place to live. It's where you start investing in yourself and building wealth. I walk you through every step so the process feels manageable.
  • Empty nesters: I know what the next chapter feels like, because I went through it when my boys became adults. When the house no longer fits the way you live, I'll help you find a home that suits your needs better.
  • Upsizing and downsizing: As life changes, your home needs to change with it. Whether your family is growing or you're ready for less space, I'll help you make the move with a plan.
  • Selling and buying at the same time: Need to sell and buy? No problem. I'll help you line up both moves so the timing works for you.
  • Relocating families: I've moved cross-country between the Midwest and Arizona twice myself, so I know how stressful a long-distance move can be. I'm your eyes on the ground so you land in the right neighborhood the first time.

Credentials: Full-time Realtor® since 2018. GRI, Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES), e-PRO, rCRMS. Member of NAR, the Arizona Association of Realtors and WeSERV.

Love where you live! Let me help get you there.
