One of the most underrated perks of living in Anthem? You're within easy reach of some of Arizona's most breathtaking destinations. Pack a bag, hop on I-17, and adventure awaits.

Sedona is about 1.5 to 2 hours from Anthem — and what a drive it is. With its iconic red rock formations, world-class hiking, spiritual vortexes, and charming art galleries, Sedona is one of those places that never gets old. Many Anthem residents make it a monthly trip.

Prescott, known as 'Everybody's Hometown,' is roughly 1.5 hours away. This charming historic city sits at 5,400 feet elevation, meaning cooler temperatures year-round. It's perfect for a summer escape from the desert heat — with a vibrant Whiskey Row, Courthouse Plaza, and miles of forested trails.

Flagstaff, the gateway to the Grand Canyon, is about 1.5 to 2 hours north. Whether you're heading to the Grand Canyon itself, skiing or snowboarding at Arizona Snowbowl, or just enjoying the ponderosa pines, Flagstaff is an incredible day or weekend trip from Anthem.

Feeling adventurous? Los Angeles is approximately a 5–6 hour drive, making it a doable road trip for a long weekend. The PCH, Santa Monica Pier, and Southern California beaches await.
